HELP

To me all chicken eggs taste the same... But for baking duck eggs are best...( I think so anyway)

The egg taste only changes with the way they are raised and kept. I am just talking about chickens.

Cage layers' eggs have the bland egg taste like you get from the store.

Chickens raised and kept in a large lot and coup will lay eggs that have a much richer taste. The better the diet the richer the eggs.

Chickens that can freerange will have the richest eggs with the darkest yolks. Those bugs add a nice rich flavor.

Also the better the egg the more viscus the white and yolk will be. Keeping the yolk intact when frying a store egg can be a challenge. Not a problem with a farm fresh egg.

I agree with Matt the egg taste depends on what the chickens eat. Doesn't really matter what breed just what they eat and where they live
