do i take a baby chick out of incubator if she is still wet last time i let one stay in to dry she died should i take her out and put her in brooder!

I usually take mine out and put them in the brooder box once they are able to stand up. That is just my choice since I have a small incubator.

I've never waited 24 hrs, but have waited 8 or 10.

You want them to be pretty dry - but I guess if the brooder is the correct temp they will be OK.

Be careful opening the incubator if you have other pips. That is how you shrink wrap chicks in the egg. Move very fast & add all the humidity you can.

im having issues with the "shrink wrapping" of the chicks the layer under the shell is dry and i feel they are stuck to it i have humidity at 70 i have extra water in incubator and its not getting any higher what do i do if the chick gets stuck? is lighting wetting it with a q-tip ok?

If she is completly stuck take your finger nail ans chip little pieces of shell off. Then tear the membrain untill she can get out herself.
