Help!!!

PLEASE HELP!!!!! first hatch, 46 egss, 1st hatched at 23 days, black 48 hrs and still not standing or eating or drinking. 2 more on day 24, membranes dry and I had to assist, no bleeding. All are not standing. Another teacher just had 1st hatch and was standing 2 hrs later. Hers is yellow, min are all black. Still incubator and I kept it at 99.5 with water in channels. Bldg is cold at night and I think maybe I should have air circulator and that is why I had delayed and low hatch #?. Any suggestions. I'm very sad and worried. HELP!!

from Ohio. So glad you joined. First off they are going to be a little behind. Still air bators need to be at 101.5 degrees. The chicks don't need to eat or drink right away. They can live for 3 days without it, but it is better if they get started sooner. They could just be weak from the long hatching. What breed are you hatching? Dawg is right though, you will get more response if you post in the other thread. Good luck.
