And yes, the Dollar Store will have it, Neosporin is just a brand name, any triple antibiotic ointment will work just fine. Chickens are weird sometimes, it is hard to figure out their silly bird brains, but that one chick will be lonely by itself if you can't get it back with her, and some are just bad mothers, want the eggs to sit on but not the babies.
