i was wondering if feed back over the wondow will keep the chickens warm if not please suggest something i cant do hay because they will eat it all so what should i us please help its getting reallyo cold in wyoming today was 30 in the morning and it is 43 now so i need to prepare for winter i will take everything and try it unless its not possible

You could do feed bags over the windows, but if your birds are grown and feathered over they'll get through this snap.

For the rest of the winter, they'll do fine with temps. The important thing, if they're cooped up, is to make sure they have ventilation but keep the roosts out of any drafty parts of the coop.
 
You can repurpose feed bags to block open areas to slow drafts. Just cut the bags to get the biggest piece of fabric possible and attach it to areas of the coop that need protection.
