help!

She won't set until she's ready and if it's getting cold already she probably wont be ready till it warms back up.

You never know though. What breed is she?

A hen won't set unless she goes broody. It is a hormonal change that occurs and she will stop laying and wants to sit on eggs. No matter how many eggs you let stack up, she won't incubate them until her body is ready.

Some breeds go broody at the drop of a hat, and some pretty much never do. If you want to hatch eggs, you'll likely need to get one that's of the broody types. Most sexlinks don't go broody at all. They're designed to lay, not to hatch. I have 6 of them and only 2 ever have any inclination to sit on an egg...and then they'll sit there for 20 minutes or so then go on about their business.
