HELP!!!!

Ferb is feeling better today. He is walking with a limp and enjoying swimming in the tub. I am however concerned about the raw spot on his back. Should I be cleaning it with some sort of soap? Yesterday I but some antibiotic ointment on it should I continue to do that? He has been preening the area like he trying to cover up the spot that's why I'm hesitant about putting anymore ointment on it. Here is a picture of the sore.

He is just tryin to clean himself up. You might want to put on ointment to keep area from dryin out and makin him more uncomfortable he wont get to much in his mouth and will most likely spit it out anyway. Now for what you DON"T want to hear............
the dog has had a taste and is no longer a friend when you aren't around! sorry

The sad part is Ferb is imprinted to my dog.

yes it is sad. They will probably be ok while you are there so that will have to fill the void for Ferb

He is doing fine. He's lost some weight but I think he will be ok. Thanks for asking.

I did figure out why my dog attacked him. When I finally let Ferb and my dog ( bullet) around each other Ferb proceeded to try and have his way with bullet. I hope that him doing this is only temporary

Please don't ever leave your dog and drake alone together, Drakes will try to mate with just about anything that walks, which may end up getting him killed .

SORRY! It's NOT temporary. Ferb has become a man! Now every thing/body is fair game. I don't know why the saying is not "randy as a duck" instead of goat. would be more fitting!!

I agree, Ferb shouldn't be around your dog without your supervision because he will always try mate with him. You might want to think about getting Ferb a couple of girl ducks. If you do, he will probably forget about the dog and the two can go on their separate ways.
