My 5 month old chicks are all of a sudden, like overnight, some of them cannot walk.......Well, they can walk at first.....Very low to the ground......Two have been arucana's (hens); one jersey giant hen; one blue laced red wyandotte rooster and tonight a gold laced wyandotte rooster.........

Can you give us a little more information, please? What are you feeding them, where are they housed, what are your weather conditions right now... are they pooping normally? Eating? Drinking?

In the run they get laying mash.........We always have fresh water...........(Fresh Water 3 x a day in this heat) They get scratch every couple of days plus free range on oyster shells..........Our weather here in Missouri is very hot an humid..........They have a house bigger than ours and huge outdoor access........We free range all day and at night they retire to the house and runs! They also get fresh fruit and vege leavings which are plentiful right now as we are avid gardeners.

P.S. THEY ARE POOPING NORMALLY and eating and drinkng........After we notice the first signs........laying down to eat etc........It gets progressively worse.....They will not come out of the house where food and water is readily available............I am at a loss

Honestly, I don't know. I don't have to deal with excessive heat, but I can imagine that they'd be panting and looking for shady spots if they were too hot. Hopefully someone will chime in with suggestions?
