One of my amaracuana hens recently died from an unknown disease. She wasn't active for 2-3 days before her death, and wasn't eating very much. Does anybody know what this could be, and if it is contagious?

One of my amaracuana hens recently died from an unknown disease. She wasn't active for 2-3 days before her death, and wasn't eating very much. Does anybody know what this could be, and if it is contagious?

Welcome. Sorry I really have no idea, sometimes hens do just die. I have had chickens die very strangely and no one can ever get to the bottom of it. You may just have to keep an eye on your flock, to see if any drastic changes occur.
