hello i want some help with strains how does someone go about making a family/strain and does anyone know anything just about strains please help plus how do you know what strain your pigeons are

Basically when you base your loft around a few good, proven birds, and they are all related somehow, most start calling their birds their own strain.

You only need one good foundation cock, to go with a decent to good hen at least supposedly, aquired from differant places supposedly like some do, then just keep breeding best from those together, or add stock to those, keeping a tracable connection to foundation stock not both from already known line. i think..
