They usually take a week or so to settle in. You have completely disrupted their lives. I'd say you were lucky you got those 2 x eggs. Be patient Dustin, once they settle in things should balance out .
My new Maran has done the same thing, brought her home 8 days ago, she laid 2 beautiful eggs then nothing, I am hoping when she settles in she will start up again.
Don't worry about it, she'll start laying again when she's ready. And there is no telling how long it'll take. She is stressed and needs to have time to calm down and see the new place as home.
Thank you guys for the help!
Donrae,
They are fed Dumor layer crumble feed.
Combs are red and plump, in fact they lean to the sides.
They free range about 1 hour to 2 hours a day.
There is a white silkie rooster in thier coop/run.
There is a good amound of room it thier coop/run to move around, peck, and scrach.
They bully a younger and much smaller hen in the run named gentle all the time.
So you've only had them a week or so? Just give them some time. Their teeny tiny little pea brains have to adjust to this being a safe place to reproduce.
