she only has one tail feather. The rest looked pulled out!

She's a Golden-Laced Polish. Pretty bird!

That Polish has escaped from someone's care. It is in good shape to be roaming around. I would check with some neighbors. They don't stray far from home. They like to nest in the same place every night.

I posted on facebook in our town forum. word usully gets around quick. But on a serious note her tail feathers look yanked out! she only has one!

Might be a dog attack. Dogs tend to "play" when they attack chickens. I had an EE lose all of her tail feathers when a dog grabbed her and swung her around.

I've had the same thing from dogs "playing" with my chickens. I agree someone probably thinks this bird is dead and is sorely missing her.
