Help my chicken is hurt she is having trouble walking and eats and drinks fine:cd she's a road island red help me please.

! Does she have any other symptoms? Have you looked over her legs and feet for injuries? Is it just one leg affected or is it both? If you had any more information it would help a lot. Also check the bottom of her feet for a black scab to rule out or confirm bumblefoot.

There's a small black spot on her foot but I don't know if that's poop. And her wings are not right the her side.

Have you tried washing off the "black spot" to see if it is poop? It looks an odd color, but it is not in the place that you'd expect to see bumble foot. Bumblefoot would be on the very bottom of the foot (where it makes contact with the ground). Also, are her wing and foot issues on the same or opposite sides?

Birds usually hold their wings out like that if they're overheated and are trying to cool down. Do you have her in a warm place? As for that black spot, take a washcloth and gently scrub the area. If it comes right off, it was poop or dirt. If it doesn't, it's probably a bumblefoot scab.

I washed it off and the problem seems to be more on the right but also on the left but not as bad

Are there any sores or marks or swelling on the bottoms of her feet?
