I am pretty sure this baby chick is a roo he was given to me along with his mother and 2 other chicks. I have had them since early Jan, I believe they were born sometime around Thanksgiving. The mother is very red faced and this little guy is also red faced. I have seen that the ladies seem to get red right before they begin to lay, since this is my first hand at chickens I would like to know your opinions. So is this little guy a he or a she? Thanks in advance.
