I just woke up and noticed a strong poop smell coming from the cage. One of the ducks poop has a lot of blood in it. What do I do ? I can take them to the vet tomorrow if I need to. The only injury I can think of is that one got stuck between the bars and I had to gently get him unstuck but that was weeks ago. Also I have two ducks and don't know which one is pooping blood.

Thank you, and here's a bit more info. I just put them both in the tub to watch them to see if they pooped and only one did and there was no blood. Also they are both eating fine, walking fine and very alert. As far as a change in diet they had a lot of mealworms today. We had a few friends come over and had them out a lot.

Nope I didn't even think of it. It had a lot of blood though and now one of them just pooped but it wasn't hardly anything at all and it seemed to have a tiny bit of blood. As soon as I see blood in their poop again I'll take a picture and I'm gonna sit here and watch them all night so I can make sure I know which one it is.

You're welcome. How old are they? Did they ever eat medicated starter food? Did they eat anything that may have colored their poop red like any kind of berries?

No medicated food and the only change in diet was a lot of mealworms today. Oh and their food is chick started food since they're only like 3 weeks old. Oh, lol sorry I'm trying to think of all info possible. Last week I woke up and found poop in the water bowl. I cleaned it out immediately and gave them fresh water. Ok so it's the girl duck. The boy just pooped and no blood whatsoever.
