Help!!!!

The broody hen got off her nest and took a drink of water and ate some food, After she drank, she put her head down to eat something after she was scratching around, and a clear slime came out of her beak . It's freaking me out!!!!PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!!!

Lots of times a bird will over drink water and when they bend back down it comes back up. So don't panic just yet!

Check her crop to make sure it is not overly bloated, which is sometimes the reason fluid can come back up. If her crop feels normal, empty or just slightly full, then she probably drank too much water and it has come back up. Keep an eye on her. To be sure, check her crop first thing tomorrow morning before she has eaten anything to make sure she is not bloated.

Babies and adults can regurgitate too. It can be from drinking too much or too fast.
