Well daughter brought home 4 ducklings, fine with me , but I have never had ducks. 3 seem to be doing good but poor little wobbles I just don;t know if I am doing right by him/her. I think they are campbell khaki ducks. Anyhow I have chickens too and from this site know you all just don't bail out on a un perfect animal and so I read what you have said to do for others. I am feeding chick starter but I got brewers yeast to supplement it and they all get mealworms as treats. I have also started giving wobbles his own swim time which he seems to do well with except sometimes when swimming his one leg seems to get hyper extended sort of straight back so that it goes straight out onto his side and back. He/she usually squirms about in the water and the leg comes back to place but when he is out walking it makes it really hard for him to balance and the other three just sort of push him out of the way when it comes to eating time. So I have taken to trying to feed him first but he wants company so I put one duck in with him ...sometimes that works, but I am worried cause the other one seems to eat then drink and wobbles doesn't always do that most likely cause its hard to move around when he eats some, loves his mealworms and swimming but Iam REALLY worried and would REALLY appreciate any help from you all. Thanks. I really have appreciated all the help this site has given me.
