It looks as though your roosts are narrow side up. Chickens aren't very graceful and may have a hard time balancing on the narrow side. Is there a way you can mount them with the wide side up to give them a little more security when they're up there? Maybe try it with one and see if it makes any difference and if it does, alter the rest to be wide side up.
