Hi all! This is my first time incubating turkey eggs. I moved them to a styrofoam still air incubator as my hatcher on day 24. It's day 27 today. When I woke this morning, I discovered the power had been off for at least 3 hrs. So I hoped for the best and went about my day. After returning home from a birthday party, I checked the temp again and it was 108.3!!! That CAN'T be right!? So in a panic I sprayed everybody and turned it down a quarter of a turn. I candeled everyone again and everyone is still moving about. I can't tell if there are any internal pips tho
I hate still air incubators. If I didn't have different stage eggs in my bator w/ the turner, I would of left them in there. What do I do?? Hope somebody pips tonight? Ughhh I'm so disappointed! Any help or insight would be appreciated. What would you do? Also, how long does it take for the temp to stabilize in a still air?
Thanks all,
Ricki
