On day 21 and I had to make a pip hole so I could see since we thought the baby chick died but hasn't.. It hasn't made an internal pip and the membrane is drying out I have to keep it moist

Use a qtip and a small dab of vaseline to rub on the membrane, then leave it alone in the bator... the vaseline will keep the membrane from drying out...

You can also wet a paper towel with warm water and wrap it around the egg, avoid covering the whole though.
