Helped chick (Have question)

I helped a chick hatch that was under my broody. It had most of the shell off but just needed a little help.
Anyway the cord was still attached to the shell. I tied it off with dental floss, it bled a tiny bit. I put some corn
starch on the chickies bottom. It is now laying under the heat lamp in the brooder. All yolk is absorbed, it just looks
tired. Will the chickie be OK??? I had to go to work so now I can't see it.

Sounds like you did good. Keep an eye on it, make sure once the chick is stable you are providing water and food.
