OK, keep an eye on them, keep the membrane moist and wait. The next step will be to wait about another 24 hours-if no forward progress, you'll need to pull the beak and one wing out making sure that the other wing is free inside the shell. Make sense? I am giving away deep, dark trade secrets here.

Never take them out of the shell more than halfway-you don't want to expose the yolk sack because it probably isn't absorbed yet and you don't want to risk a rupture. It's like duckling on the half-shell.

I opened their shell enough to get a finger in there. I wet the membranes as good as I could with really warm water but I left them in the shell and covered the shells with a wet warm paper towel.

And you do all this is the bathroom with shower going for humidity right??? I'm taking notes of all this lol when I help chicks out I do the same for the most part.

If you're hatcher is close to(or in) the bathroom, it would help. for sure.
Mine isn't at all so I have to do it in stages. Work a minute, put it back in a minute.

They beating up the ladies? They will just have to learn to behave themselves! I enjoy the splashing too... I watched them for a long time today! Hilarious little brats! I gave them left over corn on the cob and not even a thank you or even a glance!

Sadly, yes, my men are chasing the ladies and just basically jumping on them! Poor little girls against those mean 'ol boys.

It won't be long, ady, they'll come up to you when you walk in the pen gossiping about everything that's been going on since you were last out there. Mine do.

They are pretty tiny. One was yellow. One was dark. I don't remember the color of the third.
