I just went outside and found The Queen dead...I'm heartbroken.
We're afraid something may have happened at the show. These were healthy, VERY well taken care of birds...
I'm at a loss...

I found Mrs. Piglet this morning and The Queen tonight.
The vet wants to do a necropsy on them in the morning.

I'd let them do it. You need to know whats going on.

Do you think maybe someone brough a contaminated bird to the show? I wonder if anyone else that was there are losing birds too?

I'm not sure-that's always a possibility.
I just hope it doesn't take the rest of my flock if it is something they picked up there.

well I feel bad for you guys, really I do. Do you have any of her eggs that you are hatching?

The Queen actually laid this morning so I'm really hoping it's fertile and I can hatch it.
I have quite a few eggs in the incubator, but no Grays.
Poor King is just lost right now.

I bet he is. I remember you saying how protective he is of her. Maybe you could bring him in the house
