Well I just divided the call babies into two brooders. I don't think they were overcrowded but just in case. I put the one in a brooder with one other baby so I know they are not crowded. He looks good. His eyes are clear as well as his nares. He's drinking and sifting through the pine shavings with his bill. I'm just stumped. East I may take you up on some of your black eggs

I am constantly observing him and he appears to be a little thin compared to the other one in with him. I think I am going to give him some vitamins. It can't hurt right?

Good, Sonja. Maybe he needs some vitamins(without iron) in his water? Can't hurt. I use those PolyViSol infant drops(without iron) on all of my newborn babies(even the weak ones still in the hatcher).
I promise that as soon as we get a clean bill of healthy from A&M, I'll offer ya'll eggs. Ya'll have been my support system through this and I would have probably just laid in the floor and cried had it not been for your understanding(and a couple of really swell Call breeders).

I know ducks love peas. Can they have canned peas from the store or do they need to be frozen? I've not seen him eat since I put him in the new brooder.

Aww east we are always here!

Defrosted frozen, Sonja. Canned peas have too much sodium. Of course, you could use canned and rinse them off really well to get the salt off of them-that way they are good and mushy. He may be a FTT duckling, Sonja-pump the vitamins and electrolytes to him to keep him from getting weak and dehydrated.
Dammit I REFUSE FOR ONE MORE DUCK/DUCKLING ON THIS THREAD TO DIE!
Sorry, that curse word could not be contained...

Thanks everyone for your support. I really need it right now. I am thinking it may be something internal. He's not coughing or sneezing or anything like that.
