East, I haven't heard when I am going to get my snowy egg from her yet. I should probably send her a pm to check if the hen started laying yet.

I got to meet 2 BYC'ers at TSC today. I meet one there who was picking up the geese from me and another one behind me in line.

I was filling the ducks pool and when I turned my back the drake hopped out a flew away. My dog was loose and caught him. I ran after him screaming for him to drop the drake

He finally did poor little L.T. let me pick him up and carry him back to the pen. He doesn't have any missing feathers or anything so hopefully he is going to be OK. This is the same dog that broke the cats leg last month and caused me to rip out the carpet in my living room last weekend

I think he is starting to loose it or something.

Sounds like you've had a busy day today

I hope your drake ok - that would scare me half to death if my dog caught it

And cause I'm curious how did you pull the carpet up in the living room?

Hubby, DS and I worked 6 hours at it. We cut it up into small pieces. There was hardwood under it so I still have a finished floor. The hardwood needs to be refinished but I can't think about that this month. I told DH I was done cleaning it and if anything else happened it was going, lol It was only 7 years old but we live in the mud with 2 kids and 2 dogs and I dropped an iron right in the middle of the floor. I was not happy with the way the seams looked either.

I also did dance class, Walmart and Game Stop with 2 boys, a Karate birthday party, moved the chicks out to the coop and mucked out the goose pen. Now I am drinking a cup of tea and waiting for my pizza to get delivered

I'm done!

Not really, I still have to figure out a better brooder for these ducklings and give the dog a bath because he rolled in bear poo and I still can't catch him. Disgusting dog!

I would leave the dog outside

The ducklings cant you put the waterer on top of something to hold the water so the ducklings cant get to it?

Aww I'm back! The lady was so nice! She made me some basil goat cheese (delicious) and let me and the girls try some goat milk (delicious!) she was too kind and had some pretty birds!

That would work if I had a barn, problem is they are in the house right now.

I caught the stinky dog, he is tied out back until I get to give him a bath
