"Helpers" Anonymous-Chat Thread

I put my BCM into lockdown last night. If they hatch, I may put him in with them until this weekend when I can get him some duckie friends. I'm just worried about him splashing water all over them but mine dont splash that bad for the first week.

No, I don't think ducklings are too bad for the first week or so. After that...well, we all know what happens.

That is true. I just know it's a VERY good thing that they are so cute when they hatch and stay that way, even through their "awkward" stages. Love the head tilt and the head bob. My baby White duckling has been head bobbing since day 2.

I just checked on him. He is vigorously trying to free himself from the shell. That is a good thing.

That's a GREAT sign, Sonja! Glad to hear he is fighting his way out. C'mon baby!

I just hope his yolk sac is absorbed and he's not pulling against it. He's rolled all the way across the bator trying to get out lol

All that kicking and fighting should have the yolk sac absorbed pretty fast.

I'm crossing my fingers. He is sooooo tiny. I dont remember the others being this tiny but them again my memory is shot lol. I have the chronic disease CRS Syndrome

Me too, Sonja! If you find a cure or any type of medication, please let me know!
Ady's baby Butters were really tiny as well, though.
