Hey Justme...tell us how to sex silkies. What is up with the streamers on their heads?

The boys get streamers, longer feathers that stick out from their crest. Silkies can be tough until they are a bit older, 3 months at least unless they are a color that can be sexed earlier. I think partridge is one of those colors but I could be wrong. My boys get bigger faster and their combs develop earlier.

This guy had really long streamers.

I think the Showgirls are really cool looking. So different from any other breed.

I wanna build some of these to put in my grandmas pasture cause she's getting older and spends like 3 hours mowing it and we dont want her out there in the heat.


AND Duck wants to get some guineas to put in one!
