East, I knew she only had 1 pair so I figured it would take a while to get 6 eggs. I am hopeful I will at least get 2 or 3 ducklings out of them but we'll see. I will let you know tomorrow night how many are developing. I haven't been wrong yet checking them at 2 days but there's a 1st time for everything, lol

Hey Everyone. Sorry I wasn't on earlier. The front that came through last night knocked me to my knees. I've been in bed with a stinking headache since 5 yesterday evening. I need to fill yall in on a miracle. Last night I was checking the humidity in my bators and one of my bators that contains my second set of SA eggs was down to 81 degrees. I was devistated. I quickly plugged the bator back up (I think my DD unplugged it on an accident) and candled a few of the eggs. There was some VERY slow movements in two of the eggs. So I let them warm back up overnight and I candled just a few minutes ago and 7/8 were still alive and flourishing.

I now have 3 BCM chicks and I think thats gonna be all that hatches. I have one silkie that hatched last night and another one with a pip. I only had two of those make it to lockdown. The one silkie chick though is having trouble getting around. His legs stick stright out in from of him (not played to the sides) and he cant really stand up. I am going to leave him in the bator on the wire until tomorrow to see if that helps him. Any ideas?

Justme would probably be best to answer your Silkie question, but I would suspect wry neck(I always do with Silkies).

No I dont think that it. The neck is fine. It just looks like us if we were sitting sittin on your butts with our legs straight out in front of us like we were getting ready to do toe touches but our legs were together, not spread apart.
