Those stupid dogs came back last night but I outsmarted them. I cooped everyone up last night so

at them. My lone duck hen decided that she did not want to be cooped up tonight. She was sitting on 10 eggs and they were warm. I think I screwed up though. I dont want to lose the eggs so I put them in a dog crate and put her in their too hoping she would go back to sitting on them. I've never had a broody anything. It is supposed to storm here again tonight. It is already sprinkling and thundering. Plus I didnt want the eggs to get all wet. Did I kill the eggs???

If it would ever stop raining I will let my chicks out during the day (the ones in the grow out pen). All of my SA eggs that were supposed to hatch last weekend died during lockdown. So my poor lil call duckis still hanging out with the baby chicks. He's gonna crow one of these days

. My sebbie egg is still trucking along. It goes into lockdown ths friday (Yay Justme) . My second set of SA eggs go into lockdown next monday as well as my quail and then the only thing I will have left in the bator is call ducks

I just candled my call eggs. Out of 14 shipped, all but 3 are developing. The other 3 had blood rings. One of the two taped ones is growing good. The other taped one had a bloodring.

lol these butters are a mess! I put them in bath tub today! They freaked out! Loved it! We worked on the big coop today! One sides almost done thank god! 4 massive pens one each side! I need it finished soon! Lol running outta space!
