Mockingbirds are my new heros. I just watched a tiny little mockingbird chasing a big 'ol hawk off. Gotta lot a tenacious little thing like that.

I wasn't going to say anything until they hatched, ady, but I think you're lucky to have gotten that many Seramas-they are AWFUL to hatch, so you did pretty danged good for shipped eggs.

I did hear they were rough to hatch but I think calls are worse... I am glad to have what I have! I am not as upset with the seramas as I am with the delawares... Dels are super easy to hatch. There were several broke and cracked when received. I'm not sure what I was expecting!

well I looked at the other 3 serama eggs... They are all dead. They weren't shrink wrapped they just pipped and died

and I have 4 del eggs still not doing anything. The last silkie egg is doing nothing too.
I'm trying very hard to not look at eggs lol

I just killed a snake in my back yard. My daughter seen it. It was slithering its way to my baby chicken out in the yard. Needless to say, he is no longer with us...RIP lol

Wow, Poofers is gorgeous! She definitely has some Gray in her and MAYBE some Silver Appleyard????? Or Snowy????
My little Black Bib looks just like yours.

The only thing is she is quite a bit bigger than the black bibbed but thats ok. We still love her.
