I bet that was a sight. That could lead to having baby chicks popping out of your ears.

I hope you are feeling better.

My marans chick and lonley duckling are getting moved to the brooder today. I really hope that the 2 duckies in there already accept them without any trouble. I moved my big ducklings in with my adult pair yesterday and it seems to be going OK. The drake is giving them a had time but I don't think he wants to kill them any more. The ducklings are just about as big as the adults so they should be OK. First I put my hen in the main run with the ducklings to see how that would go and the funny girl was attacking all of the chickens, even the big roo

Big roo just looked at her like what the, I could step on you and smush you

Duck, did I tell you that the eggs I put under my silkie were for sure clear? I am going to set this weeks batch in the bator to see if I have better luck. If not I am going to have to trim some fuzzy butts but not until after the show in 2 weeks.

good morning east!
Happy mothers day! I dunno if anything special is going on for me today. I'm the only one up right now and I'm enjoying the quite! Yesterday I was running around like crazy! Then last night we had a get together with all our neighbors. My neighbor cooked a brisket and it was sooooo yummy! All the chicks and ducks are doing good. Heres a picture of my two favorite calls!
