Well, moved the last 5 ducklings outside this morning! Yay, no more stinky brooder in my sunroom...until the next ones hatch, which, please God, let that be today.
I am such a glutton for duckling punishment.

Hope everyone is having a great day today. It's HOT here, still no rain, oh, and did I mention it's hot?

My neighbor let his broody duck hatch out 7 ducklings last week and the called me this morning to tell me hawks, owls, baby daddy...had killed all of the ducklings

so he's bringing me a bag of Gamebird starter since his duckies don't need it anymore. I hate when that happens.

Oh yeah, and my Snowy eggs shipped this morning!

good morning everyone! Just got back from riding this am! I am moving slow today. I did the BIG 12 miles route with the kids and now I'm hurting something bad!
east I can't wait till mine are big enough to join the butters outside! Lol they are such little stinkers compaired to the chicken and quail brooders! I'm trying so hard to figure out what sex my butters are... I'm think they are both hens... Just my guess but I know I'm not lucky enough for that to happen! Two males maybe two females no way! If they are two females where will I get a male!?! Lol oh no!

I've spent a lot of time watching them the last few days and ones breast feathers are a little darker and coming in slower than the others. The other is starting to get feathers on her face and they are same color as her breast feathers that's are coming in and she's more vocal than the other. But I dunno if I'm just seeing things or what... Dh says they look the same but they act different?

If they are girls they should be quacking in the next few weeks. I am always so impatient to figure out if I have girls or boys. I'm 99% sure that all 4 of the snowys that I have hatched are boys
