Good morning everyone. The two babies are doing ok. They still have the bottom half of their shell on but I moistened membranes when I got up this morning so hopefully they will be out soon.

good morning everyone!! We got home last night and my phone was dead all weekend or else i'd have been on here! My parents have interenet but we were going 10 million places i didn't have time to sit on the computer!
Well yesterday when i got home 4 of my ducks were dead. two of my pq call ducks and 2 of my khaki campbells. They must have died on Sunday morning. looked like they hadn't been dead long. they drowned.... UGHHHH how do ducks drown in shallow water?? I still have my butters and a grey call duck and a bibbed one. I have like 16 quail hatched and two call ducks hatched from 9 eggs in the bator. I pulled the eggs out and 5 were pipped and still alive!!! So i quickly opened them up and they were fine!! I was SHOCKED! One died this morning though and one i'm not sure if its going to make it or not seems very weak. I'm working on her though i hope she pulls through. The other 3 look great! small wide bills good looking feet! I will post pictures of them in a little bit! I need help with the colors! I know two are black bibs on looks like a butter and the other i'm not sure??? maybe a chocoloate? i dont know i will show you guy and i will use your knowledge! I also got the 7 more butter eggs i bought

I put them in the bator this morning. Right now i have 8 white call eggs in the bator due for lockdown on the 20th and i have silkies hatching on the 17th and quail on the 19th lol boy oh boy! When i was in houston i bought two new big rabbit cages that are great for brooders... i have 4 brooders now but i needed two more right??? lol My sister came out so we will be running arond all day but i'll get back to check in tonight! I HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING GREAT!
East i'm sorry to hear about having feathers all over! Hope your chicken will be alright!
Justme i'm sorry to hear of your hatch problems... these guys are SO hard to hatch.... Its depressing to me sometimes when i get another one dead so i hope the best for all your hatching babies!
Sonja are you in lockdown with the eggs we both got? I hope you get some great babies! The ones i have look great so i'm sure you will be happy with what you get! He must have more black bibs bc i got more of them it seems!

Ady, I am sorry about your babies. I've had some drowning this year too. It just doesnt seem right. So far I have two babies out. I think I only have one egg that is viable left. Congrats on your new babies.

sonja I know I just don't get it! How do ducks drown?? Good luck on your babies and congrats on yours also!!

Well the only other viable egg has now died. I just dont ungderstand. But on the bright side, I have two cute babies. One is like a blackish grayish color and the other is yellow with gray striped around the eyes and on its head.

Well they have been moved to the brooder. The black one is not doing to well. The other baby is up and drinking already. I guess we will see how it goes.

everyone. I have 1 snowy, 2 gray and 1 white baby in the brooder from this weeks hatch. I just opened up the shipped snowy. It is in the right position. I did open up them membrane though so we'll see. It seems like any that aren't breathing at this point don't make it so I didn't want to wait any longer.
