Good morning ALL!
I lived in Virgina for a little while when i was in the army.... it sure does get COLD up there. We would still be running 6 miles in the morning when it was -6 degrees!!!! Our snot would be frozen to our upper lip no lie! lol I also had a crazy platoon sergeant there so.... I've never been to washington but i've heard its BEAUTIFUL! I like texas a lot and i've lived many different places. Kentucky had very nice weather and so did Ohio, not too hot but it could get a little too cold specially when i lived in cleveland! Cincinnati was a bit milder.

Well i didn't catch anything last night but.... my silkie hen is sitting on 3 sussex eggs and 2 bcm. I pulled the silkie eggs out and tossed them bc i dont want anymore silkies!! But she is doing good! I had to go shoo everyone out of her nesting box though last night... they were all laying on top of her!!! And of course Mr. Deli Roo was determined to sit on the lip of the nesting box so i just left him there. He is very protective of all the birds! He gets a little upset when i'm moving birds around of checking hens! Speaking of Dels i bought a dz more del eggs last night from rebel roo!

I know i dont NEED more del eggs since mine will be laying soon but hey i could help it his Dels are big and pretty! Todays my moms birthday

Anyone be interested in 6 Call duck eggs for the cost of shipping? I have no idea what color they'll be and it is hot as hades down here so I have no idea what kind of hatch you might have.

I just don't have the heart to hatch anymore in this blasted heat and don't want to chunk them if any of you want them.

lol ok east you just let me know and i'll send you the shipping cost! I'll PM you my address! I can't believe its so hot already.... I worry about my silkie bc i haven't seen her even get up to drink or eat. I put a make shift milk jug cut for a waterer and put some food by her so i hope she doesn't cook herself trying to cook these eggs!

Ady, I have just been yanking my little broody off of the nest every few hours and pitching her out to free range so she doesn't cook in the nestbox. Boy does she get MAD!

yeah i'm surprised with my silkie she makes a huge ruckus when i even open either door on the coop but when i jack with her she doesn't even try to bit me or anything... she just complains alot! good little broody hen.... my first one

Like I said-Aleutians, Whites, Snowy, Blue Fawn Pied...I have no clue what they'll be, but I guarantee they'll be adorable if they hatch-all of mine are. Little monsters.

lol i'm sure they will just be absolutely adorable! My little snowy is getting a wee bit attached to me

She was following me around the house yesterday it was sooooo cute! DH said she's pretty and he likes her but not as much as he likes the butters! He shows pictures of the butters to everyone lol its soo cute too! I have two butter eggs due to hatch this weekend... i'm keeping my fingers crossed

I'm watching this Casey Anthony trial.... I know its wrong to say this but everytime they show that womens face i wanna just beat her head on the table! There is just so much evidence against her and she is still acting like she didn't do anything!Gahhhhh
