OK, it wasn't funny, but my tiny bantam roosters hadn't seen DH in a while(with him working graveyards) so they all started attacking him about the shins and ankles at once.

He's a keeper, he was feeding corn to the ducks and protecting the Cochin babies from the teenage babies(we're working on integrating).

Those little guys think they are bigger than they are, lol

Are your cochins bantam or standard? What color?

Third, I am going to reorganize the brooder space for the other chicks still needing supplemental heat 24/7.

Fourth, I am going to take lots of naps.
Fifth, I am going to try to watch what has been on the DVR for weeks...

And then I will do other stuff, like go buy more feed, bales of pine shavings, etc.

Change of plans. I'm flying to Linda's and I'm gonna hang with her. I like the idea of sleeping in and naps and playing with chickens.

Just me, you're chicks are really pretty!

Sonja, glad baby is hanging on! Bet SHE'LL be fine. That yolk sac will probably be absorbed before you know it.

My eggs came from a lady I've become friends with through Calls and they will be ALL different colors! White, gray, Appleyard, etc.
I've been a good girl this evening, got all my chores done and showered before midnight BEFORE I got on the computer.
DH has his day off on Sunday so we'll just be hanging out and doing a few chores. Nothing exciting here.
What are you up to this weekend, duck?

Can I move in?

I will bring my own chickens and ducks, buy my own feed,shaving, etc but I would need help building coops
