So sad what's going on in Japan. DH told me before he left for work that it looks like one of those nukes is gonna meltdown. Terrible.

I just got home from nuying batteries for my camera so I can show you my new babies. We have three that are still in the hatching process. I've got their heads out. Now all they have to do is kick out of the egg. I will go take pics now.

Here is a pic of the three that I hatched out this morning. I just moved them to the brooder.

This is Elvis. I named him that because he was the King of rock and roll yesterday. His egg wasn't stilll for 5 seconds lol.

Here are the two yellows. One got stuck to the shell. Please ignore the ucky stuff on his back.

I have three more in the slow process of hatching at this moment.

I got one of the three out of the shells. the stomach is not completely closed up but the sac is all the way absorbed. I put a warm wet cloth on his belly. The other two are resting.
