Ah, OK. I'm going to go check them now. I know about the hand turning but since I am gone most of the day I can't do it.

I turn when I get up in the morning, when i get home at 3:40 and when I go to bed.

This bator doesn't turn like other ones. The eggs are on thier sides and it rolls them really good once an hour. At first it made me pretty nervous but I have gotten really good hatch rates out of it. This is the 1st time I am trying it on duck eggs so we'll see.

OK, the ones that you are happy with the air cell size-leave those alone. The others, mist them a couple of times-this helps dry them down.

I think I'm on day 24. I will bump it up a few degrees and mist after I get DH up. I've been in there too many times this morning and he is going to be grumpy from interrupted sleep, lol

Well I just woke up after I finally fell asleep after 6 this morning

. I am bound and determined to have a better day. I just ordered some shipping boxes from USPS. I am tired of buying them already. Now it won't cost as much to ship eggs. I have 3 orders going out next week. I am not selling any more duck eggs for a little bit. I have to reset the ones I lost. I need more hens lol.

70% humidity is the limit of my bator so I calibrated it down to 3% so hopefully that is 73%. They are all snuggled into lockdown now. They are rocking but no peeping yet. I don'tthink they have broken the membranes yet. I really hope the egg from my hen makes it

I gave the BBS silkie pullets baths and they are really bug free

I got the other coop all setup for them to go into and once they are dry I will throw them out there. I'm going to leave the roos out of there for 2 weeks to give the girls a break but hopefully I will have fertile silkie eggs in 3 weeks.

I need to figure out a way to get my marans and ee's seperated into a breeding pen so I can get some fertile eggs from them too.
