Evening folks! Just popping in to say hi!
I've been messing with hatching Calls all day, getting everyone situated from the show yesterday, cleaning duck pools, feeding...sheesh!
I have 11 ducklings in the hatcher right now, but not sure how many will make it.
Not sure on colors yet because they're not fluffy.
Hopefully I'll have pics of fluffy ducklings to post tomorrow!
Have a great night all. Gotta go moisten membranes, fold clothes and fix dinner and then get to bed!

I woke up to snow this morning

6 ducklings(MAYBE 7) still in the hatcher. Malpositioned bunch they were.
Had a Rouen that I was hatching for someone else that wasn't due to hatch until tomorrow shoot out of his shell last night like a cannon-wish they would all hatch that easily!
Sonja-stay away from the egg swap thread.

Glad you got some rest and sorry you got some snow.
ady-how are your eggs doing? Have you candled lately?
I have so much to do today it's not funny. Will I get it done???? That is the question!
DH went back on days today so hopefully that will help!

Yes I candled last night and all 6 were jetting all around in the eggs! Have you or Sonja candled yours to see if yours are developing?

East, did you move the others to the brooder or did the little guys not make it?

My ducklings started day 25 at about 10 pm last night and there were no pips in the bator yet this morning.

I really NEED these ducklings to take my mind off of this cold! I am so tired of lugging water out in the morning. It is soooo much easier to do it at night but I can't because it is frozen solid by morning. 2 More night of freezing temp and then it should stay above freezing

It's almost April already

Sonja & Ady - You eggs are going to go out tomorrow. I had to get more peanuts and I didn't want to leave the eggs in my car in the freezing temps.
