Morning.

It's too early to be awake. I JUST fell asleep a few hours ago.
Justme-my little broody duck is a PQ Call. She probably won't sit the whole time, but maybe it's worth a try.
Ady-Sorry your eggs are stuck in the mail somewhere.
So not looking forward to today, but at least it will also be over today. Glass half-full!
Probably won't be back on today since I'll be playing hostess with the mostest all day and probably most of the night.

Morning, duck!
Well, my duckling was peeping like crazy so I went to check on her. The little Pyncheon chick had died and my duckling was pushing it with her bill trying to wake it up.

We had decided to go one more day trying to help the Pynchie because it was a little Mille Fleur baby.
Ugh...

Hi everyone. East, I am sorry you lost your chickie.

I was letting the call ducks swim in the tub and they were all having a blast. The one un-named duckling suddenly went completely underwater and swam to the other end of the tub. He looked like a little torpedo. So that is now his name...Torpedo lol. They are so stinking cute. Now I have to wait until Monday or Tuesday before I MIGHT even get another baby. Thanks for correcting my lockdown date East.

Sonja that is awesome i love names like that! I am still trying to figure my new ducks names out! They are SOOOO cute i just love them! I dunno if i told anyone but out of the 7 white call eggs beccoh sent me only two are developing and i think one last night looked like it was going to be a blood ring. bummer! OH and one more big thing that happened today.... We got a saanen goat! Her name is sandy and she is so cute!!! She is 3 months old and was a bottle baby. I told hubby i wanted a milk goat and he got me one! She is going to hang out in the center pen of the chicken coop and i'll take her out during the day while i am outside and tie her so she can graze a bit. I'll post some pictures in a bit

Sorry about the eggs ady

on the goat we did have 2 pygmy goats but we sold them last year cause they were going to go to a nice home with a buck and become mommys

Duck almost had a heart attack cause we had to take the EE chicks to my moms work for easter and oh my gosh soooooo many people there! The little kids loved the but they were opening the door and they were told not to and my mom decided to take some out and put them in a box so the little kids could pet them and that well they weren't allowed to pick them up though but they did and we had 12 chicks with wings running all over the place!

I got there little basket we had them in to go there and got there dog crate all put up and got my moms car and put everything in the car and was ready to leave! I wasn't happy! Mom could tell I wasn't really happy either.


And the fact I didn't know they were coming and mom put them in the car before I even noticed them gone from there brooder really mad me mad!

Ok I feel better!

Aww i understand duck! But just think you made those little kids probably pretty happy!
