I pulled all of my Olive Egger eggs and opened them up to see what was going on. They were on day 5. It looks like some of them started to develop but never got to the stage where there is any blood. I think the 1 last maran egg in there is good so I'm thinking the roo is not the problem.

I went ahead and set the snowy eggs. The air cells don't look as good as the last shipped batch but none were detached.

Sonja, Congrats on your trio and I'm sorry about your cousin. I have a few of those in my family.

I'm sure lots of people look down on me for my choices but

to them. That's why we moved to a town where lots of people have critters and want to live a little simpler. Every other house on my road had poultry or had it at one point. This one has 2 cows, that one has 2 horses or a few donkeys. It's just normal here. I gave myself a minicure today to hide the fact that my hands have been in chicken mud for the last 4 days . I bet it won't last long, lol

Um, duck, *cough* *cough* I have 9 silkie eggs that need a home and I am too lazy to list an auction.

Did Ady leave on her trip? I have she is having a great time

East, my dad was watching the Weather Channel and I cant beleive how dry you guys are down there!!

Oh and they talked that fires are surrounding Possum *somethin* Lake... Made me laugh when I saw they had a lake named after a Possum!
