I have 4 Speckled Sussex and 3 Bantam Cochins out. I'm just waiting on 1 more cochin and I can move them to the brooder.

I have a question for ya'll-we have a Lemon Blue Cochin Rooster that is HUGE! Are Cochins any good at being flock protectors or are they just big balls of feathers? This guy is gonna be a monster when he's full grown!

My bantam boy is not the best. He is good to the girls and sounds the alarm but he can't move very fast.

I figured that. As long as he isn't starting fights, he should be OK then. He's really beautiful and we want to keep him. Guess BLRW will be tending the flock then.
