Ok so i picked up the eggs! His birds were BEAUTIFUL! Those pictures did those birds no justice at all! I mean i honestly was shocked. He was a very sweet older man been raising birds for years. His sussex were MASSIVE! I was shocked! I'm super excited to see these babies hatch!

Justme i hope your ducky will be ok... My seramas were getting picked on and i had to move them back inside. Poor babies i hate the whole pecking order with birds!

I am almost in tears. We went to the races and when we got back home I went to put the birds up and a D*MN racoon killed my baby weep weep....the female pilgrim goose. She was my baby and loved me very much. It is too late in the season to find eggs so now I have a lonesome gander. I am soooooo mad

Thanks Justme. Tomorrow night this ends. I will kill it tomorrow night. It just happened too. Her blood was still wet where the coon pulled her through the hole in our fence. I hope he enjoyed his last meal.

I am in shock. I had given up on catching my coon problem. Sandy my goat kept jumping on the trap so i tied her up last night and put the cage on the other side of the fence. I didn't even think i was going to get him bc i hadn't got him yet. This morning when i got up i noticed my dog was going NUTS in the laundry room. So i let him out and went to check on my birds! And bam..... a BIG ol coon in the trap. I'm mad though bc i ran all the way back to my house all happy and excited and DH doesn't wanna get up and look at him. His a pretty big coon.... I asked hubby to make a coon hat out of him for me lol is that wrong?????

Morning.
I am so sorry for all of your losses the last couple of days. That's so sad.
Justme, I hope your duckling is OK.
Duck, I LOVE your pictures of your ducks.
Sonja, I hope you get that (*#&@ racoon.

Ady, get your piece out and blast that racoon!
We spent the day yesterday watching a fire that was close to the house in case we had to evacuate. Thank God they contained it sometime last night. The smoke is really bad this morning and I'm a little concerned about my birds.
Hope you are all doing OK.
