Those baby skunks were cute BUT they will turn into a nuisance.
My birds are way more important to me than to let a predator run around my farm. They will eventually grow up and that is when the problems start. If it were me, being they were babies, I would try to find someone to take them in first and if I couldnt, then yes I would kill them.
I rescued a baby racoon when I was in high school. Poor lil thing was running down the road (after I gout out of school and I was on my way home). It wasnt as big as a popcorn fart. I stopped my truck and clicked my tongue a few times and he came running up to me. I stuck it in the truck and took it home. Long story short, we contacted a guy that had a nearby petting zoo and we gave it to him. Turned out she was really sick (pneumonia). He nursed her back to health and put her in his zoo.
Now at that time I had no chickens or anything like that. If I had, I would have left her behind to protect what was mine. I had no intenions of keeping it. I just didnt want it to get ran over. I think whatever the person decides to do is their business and no one should butt in.
