I took Sunday off. no internet at all.
we did sell two puppies, though.
now we have 3. and one of them is going to Florida after March 2.

Cappy, what kind of beams do you have for that 12 foot span ? You might want to add legs in the middle. those beams are liable to fatigue after time and sag.

sure, the pen is light now, but just wait until it has a couple hundred bunnies in it ..LOL

Was wondering about that span, and leg attachments.
Would be good to add another set of legs and tie them all together.

The bunny condo is only 10 feet. But if it shows signs of sagging i will add legs.

you will know when it starts to sag as soon as the pen doors don't align any more..
and that won't take much sagging to notice it.

my pens are eleven feet long and they are sagged very noticeably .
I don't use them any more or else I would add more legs..

you're right, I am making you work. I don't much any more, so it is fun to create work for others..:old:lau

Well, you guys just wanna make me work more. I will consider it. Probably do it. Its been a long day.
Hard to say if it needs it or not......if it needs fixing, you can do it.
Bracing the legs was my first concern, but you know how I can get ;).
Hopefully they are bolted well and won't need any anti-wobble bracing.

Cappy, if you don't want to add more legs,
maybe you could "sister" a 2x8 or a 2x10 to the backside of (what looks like) the 2x4.
adding a 2x4 won't help much..
looks like Spot will be going to a place with horses.. prolly at the end of this week..
I am sad to see him go, but happy for him.
he needs a job..
He collects all the socks and shoes he finds lying about and piles them up .. then he lays and watches over his "herd". he doesn't chew them up..
at least nobody will take his horses away from him..

Spot is our 7 month old puppy from our last litter.
I call him Spot because he doesn't have any.
He got his face cut pretty badly when it was time to sell the pups. We didn't want to sell a damaged dog, so we kept him.
He healed nicely, no scar.
is well behaved and will make a good LGD with a little patient coaching..

I will post his picture ..
