I am not any good at carving a pumpkin,
I helped the kids do it when they were little.
haven't done one in about 40 years.
I can't stand the smell of pumpkin. I don't eat anything with pumpkin in it..
but I can appreciate the talent you all have.

well, I did manage to drill out the 3 screws in the carburetor . it took a lot longer than you tube tutorials showed.
I am glad I did it though.. my hunch was right. the jets were plugged . I gave the carb a good thorough cleaning. tomorrow I have to go to Fleet & Farm and get 3 new metric screws..

I am not fond of eating pumpkin but i like the seeds.
Might as well do the job right the first time, good work!

went to F&F and found the screws I need for the carburetor . no thanks to the idiot clerk that I flagged down to help me.. I knew I needed metric. he insisted I needed common ..
I finally told him that I would go home and check it out .. when he left, I pursued it on my own.. finally found the METRIC size I needed.. the carb is back on the scooter.
I drained the gas tank.
bought new 91 octane non ethynol ..
now I have to figure out where the rubber hoses all go. some were not hooked up when I took the carb out..
