First time I start the ancient mostly unmaintained walking mower,
after that it starts on first pull.


Not sure how your toilet tank not filling would slow the whole system(filling coffee pot),

Hot water ran out while finishing dishes the other night,
cleaning intake filter got the pilot/burner started back up,
flame suppressor will still need to be vacuumed soon.

Art, when I am in panic mode, (before coffee)
nothing seems to be what it should be.. the water pressure is fine..
the sun is rising .. only in the high teens..
supposed to get up to 51F .. all the snow has slid off of the roofs.. we have all steel ribbed roofs..
if I am not hi-jacked today I want to put the dirt auger back together. see if it will run without that governor .. It doesn't have to run perfect, just run fast enough to turn the auger..

No, she won't mess with them that i know of. I let her smell them and that works for her. If they were running loose, i wouldn't trust that instinct might get her to chase. She likes to sit on the brooder and watch them. Her son is the same way.

We had a monster wind storm last night, Lynchburg had an F3 tornado! ( about 45 mins north of us). There are at least 3 trees and perhaps more down. Each tree that fell crushed another tree! Lost 3 big pines, a dogwood, a maple, and one other tree! Plus we have not checked the rest of the 13 acres. One tree came down right on the goat fence hubby just put up.

in the tree world, it is no fun falling if you don't have a target..
My friend up in Rhinelander had a couple pines come down. one landed on his garage right above the service door. the tree is removed,
(chunked up) but the door is jammed. and the truss is broken..
I went out and put the gas tank and carburetor on to the post hole digger.
It would have started first or second pull if I hadn't forgotten to let the choke off..
once I let the choke off it started first pull..
I might still have to add a high throttle spring, but it seems fine without it, so far.
snow is melting like crazy today.. go snow !

I watched a program about the flooding in Nevada, tonight..
it makes our flooded basement not even worth mentioning..
a bunch of local farmers hauled several semi loads of hay to Nev. no charge..
probably only a dent in how much they need, but it helped, some..
Notre Dame is still burning..
they are already talking about rebuilding.
that will be a real project..

Thanks, at least since i didn't build the mini goat shed, it couldn't get mashed. I already had hubby cut down the dead trees in the goat are, but these were live trees.
