that's the trouble with kids. just when they get old enough to be really useful, they leave.
I see the salmon resemblance .
My one nephew has a good sized boat and he lives just across the highway and two houses away from Lake Michigan. He has been slaying lake trout this summer. and salmon..
I like when he gives me fish. the salmon are so much better than what you can buy in a store..

.......jiminwisc.....

I had to break down and water the tomatoes ahead of schedule. this high 80's heat really evaporates the water out of the buckets.
But the self watering buckets are holding up very well, so far. I am trying to come up with a way to retrofit at least some of the other buckets to be self watering.
.......jiminwisc.....
I'm going to have to get serious about a watering system for the beds at least, the soakers are fine for the trees and shrubs but all the other hand waterinf is for the birds.

yep, hand watering takes a long time.
each self waterer takes about 2 minutes .
I have sixteen of those. However, they need to be topped off only once a week or less.
each of the non self watering buckets takes at least three minutes. there are about 30 of those.
but that is only if they are bone dry, which I have not had happen, yet..

Dang. Try clicking on the word "Osprey" in the post. I may have messed it up :)

Edit: Link here
Oooohhhhh...it's good to use some text formatting to make link easier to see,
bold or italics or underline or all three,
otherwise it looks barely different from other text.(a downside to the latest software update).
But, yeah, cool vid!
Saw one the other day of a BOP with a shark in NC.
