Helpful hints for building coops

4 of my grandchildren are visiting us, with their parents. So i had lots of helpers today feeding chickens, and winterizing some of the tractors and hutches. I use feed bags to cover the hardware cloth areas, and heavy clear plastic on at least one area, so they have light and can see out.

My Granddaughter Bella helped me paint the inside of the old Turkey coop. Peach is the new color.

Fresh paint, and going to repair a few places near the bottom that are decayed. Former Turkey coop. Now will house chickens.

Still getting ready for winter. I think i have all of the plastic stapled up, and feed bags.
Still didn't build that coop i planned to. But not feeling well.

Thank you . I got antibiotics for my sinus infection, but something else is not good.
