Cappy, we will take care of the snow up here.
we got at least twelve more inches in the past
two days.
I didn't plow. called Bob. It was only 18F,
I am not a fan of freezing my butt off sitting
on a tractor.. the town plow took out our
mailbox,,,,,again.. they don't reimberse us for it.

I woke up to our first snow this winter, when i got up today. About an inch. Then it drizzled all day. Most of the snow has melted, and it is supposed to be 17° warmer in the morning!

I didn't get any snow, but I've got a cold snap just when I'm hatching chicks.

I will have to setup dual heat again.

Cappy, try burning the stump out.
cut it with a chainsaw like a pie into six pieces.
cut all the way to ground level.
pour some oil down the cracks. You might
have to pour a little gas in to get the oil
started. it takes a little time, but much
easier than digging by hand..
Try it with a small diameter stump first,
to see how you like it..
lighting a fire on top of a stump does nothing.
