Yes..... have a whole house fan, ceiling fans, and a window fan.
Got a whole system for the keeping cool in house,
works until we get long heat waves where it doesn't cool off at night,
been a couple years since that happened(knockwood).
Whenever I whine about being hot, I stop myself by be being grateful I have power.

We are going to get a generator! I love getting stuff like that, just in case. Way out here it would probably take a long time to get power restored. No phone lines here.
 
I did all that I am going to do outside before 10:eek:o AM.
I got the starter marks for siding on the last wall.
went to Menard's and got the 4 studs I need to finish the wall.
got a 54 pound bag of Purina large dog food for $22.oo.
tried starting the blazer this morning. it is acting like it is not getting gas. Now I am wondering if there is a leak in the fuel line.?
the car is plenty old enough for that problem to act up.
I took inventory of the siding stash in my old tool truck.. there is plenty left to do the rest of the shed walls, including the gable ends.

Aart, do you know Dr Pol ? or is he too far north from you ?

what are you drafting ? I did a lot of drafting and technical illustrating work for various companies . then I gave it up and went into building. I did all of my own house drawings when needed for building loans etc..

Nope, heard of him, tho...I'm way in the lower left corner of state, between Kazoo and the Lake.

I'm doing a 3D model and BP drawings for a timber frame house.
Using ACAD Inventor and Mechanical.
Am retired form 20+ years of design/drafting of Pharm Equipment.
 
most of the places I worked didn't have computers yet. we drew by hand.
I did work at a place that had CAD/CAM
I had no training with that system so I didn't do very well. I still had the option of drawing by hand there, though.
If you ever get hold of a Drott manual with the exploded picture of the Feller Buncher in it. I drew that by hand.

Our Packers just won a squeaker . O.T.

Not a real clear picture of the attachment on Ebay.
for a presentation I had to make a scale one dimensional model of the 40 crawler backhoe.
I had it mounted on a large piece of plywood.

the boom moved and the bucket moved and I had the reach and arc of maximum swing of the end of the bucket illustrated on the board.
that was a fun project.

Well yeah, they are good for some things. But i was cursing the computer in Dicks the other day when i filled out the whole danged form to buy a gun and the computer crashed. Then i had to fill all the paperwork by hand all over again. Grrr!
